Dulles Airport has five official parking options for travelers. These options vary in price and location. If you’re looking for a spot closer to your terminal entrance, the rate will be higher. Rates at IAD Airport range from $10-$35 per day. Compared to SpotHero rates, $5-$7 per day.

 

Parking Garages 1 & 2 at IAD

Parking Garages 1 & 2 are a covered parking option with an automated spot counting system that shows how many spots are available. Garage 1, located near the terminal entrance, has covered walkways and a free shuttle bus. Garage 2, located a short distance to the terminal entrance, has walkways and a free shuttle bus. There is no minimum or maximum limit on how long you can park in the garages. But, vehicles parking longer than 45 days need to be registered at the parking office so the vehicle isn't thought of as "abandoned." Parking Garage rates start at $6 per hour and have a daily maximum of $17 per day.

 

Economy Parking Lot at IAD

The Economy Parking Lot is located a further distance from the terminal entrance. This lot is divided in two by color, Blue Lot and Green Lot. A free shuttle bus picks-up and drops-off every 10 minutes. Travelers returning take the Blue or Green shuttle bus on the Ground Transportation Level. Blue Economy stops: 3, 5, 7, 9. Green Economy stops: 11, 14, 15, 16, 18. There is no minimum or maximum limit on how long you can park in the Economy Lot at IAD. But, vehicles parking longer than 45 days need to be registered at the parking office so the vehicle isn't thought of as "abandoned." Economy Parking Lot rate is $10 per day with no hourly rates.

 

Terminal Parking at IAD

The Terminal Parking Lot is located directly across from the terminal entrance. This self park lot is the most convenient at Dulles Airport. There’s an underground walkway to the terminal that travelers may use when parking here. There is no minimum or maximum limit on how long you can park in the Terminal Parking Lot. But, vehicles parking longer than 45 days need to be registered at the parking office so the vehicle isn't thought of as "abandoned." Terminal Parking rates start at $6 per hour and have a daily maximum of $25 per day.

 

Valet at IAD

Valet at Dulles Airport is located at the Departures Level Curb in Zone 3. Valet drop-off is located a short distance away from the Airport entrance, ticket airline counters, and TSA PreCheck entrance. Valet drop off is open from 4am to 10pm. When you return from your trip, text your ticket number to 703-214-4455 to have valet retrieve your car. Located in the Terminal Lot is the Valet Service Center, open 24 hours you can pick up your car after-hours. Come back to a clean car when you add a car care service. Valet parking rates start at $35 for the first day and day two and beyond is $10 per hour and a max rate of $35 for the day.

IAD Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Dulles Airport is equipped with multiple car charging stations at their parking facilities. Park and charge your car in Garages 1 and 2. Garage 1 has five charging stations that serve five parking spots on Level 3 in Row H. Garage 2 has five charging stations for five parking spots on Level 1 in Row U and four stations serving 8 parking spots on Level 3. There is no extra parking fee for these charging spots.

 

Accessible Parking at Dulles Airport

All official Dulles Airport parking facilities have handicap parking. All cars parked in these designated spots must have a valid license or placard displayed. Failure to display a disabled placard or license plate will result in a ticket or towing of the car. The shuttle buses are equipped to accommodate wheelchairs. You can find these spots located in the following parking structures: Garage 1, Level 1 in rows L and N, Garage 2, Level 1 in row H and Level 3, rows B, C, and D, Terminal Lot in rows 2 through 30, and Economy Parking in the Blue Lot and Green Lot.
