CHICAGO — OCTOBER 30, 2020 — SpotHero, the digital parking leader in North America, announced today it has closed the previously announced acquisition of Rover Parking. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2011, SpotHero has been paving the way for millions of drivers to easily, safely and affordably find parking in over 7,000 parking facilities across 300 cities. As the top downloaded app for off-street parking in North America, SpotHero promotes easy parking for all, one spot at a time. 

The acquisition of Rover will accelerate SpotHero’s growth in Canada, with SpotHero’s Canadian inventory more than doubling following the acquisition in key markets such as Toronto. The Rover team will be joining SpotHero and will remain based in Toronto.
