The DAR Constitution Hall was built in 1929 for the purpose of holding the annual Daughters of the American Revolution convention when the original building could not support the growing numbers. Eventually the original building (Memorial Continental Hall) was joined with DAR Constitution Hall by a third building which is now home to the DAR Museum.
