Pull a ticket when you enter. You may park anywhere that doesn't say "Reserved", either in the garage or surface lot.
When you're ready to leave, show the attendant at the Parking Office your SpotHero reservation, along with the ticket you pulled when entering. If it is after hours, you can press the intercom button to talk to the call center to be let out.
