Director of Product Management at SpotHero: 

We're seeking a Director of Product Management to manage, shape, and grow our fast-paced, growing product management team! You will lead a team of product managers (4 people) focused on our business facing products. By working with a two-sided marketplace, you will focus on building, growing, and leading a team dedicated to helping parking operators grow and scale their businesses. This crucial role will have a transformational impact by helping operators succeed by understanding our shared customers’ behaviors and needs when parking.

Our Product Management Team seeks out and solves incredibly hard problems each and every day to create the best experience for our customers, while crafting a strategy that allows us to continue to grow and achieve our business results making us a truly product led organization.

What you will do: 

• Be an integral piece in building strategy by blending stakeholder needs, innovative solutions, and evangelism to move the parking industry into a digital future! 
• Build, track, and analyze KPIs that are presented to leadership on a regular, ongoing basis. You will empower and collaborate with the entire organization to make data-driven choices to support SpotHero’s vision. 
• Present, oversee, and produce product management deliverables. This includes vision statements, strategy documents, and prioritized roadmaps, among others as you progress in your role.
• Champion growth optimizations to maximize product performance with advanced research and data-driven methodologies. You will guide discovery through ideation, research, documentation, and receiving feedback from our customers.
• Collaborate with various teams to create innovative, best-in-class, and customer-centric solutions! You will assist your team in navigating relationships with business stakeholders and our end users.
• Partner with the Product Leadership Team to establish product management standards, deliverables, and methodologies at SpotHero, which will determine the best approach to solve any large, cross marketplace gaps.
• Manage and coach a team of product managers by providing pointed, useful feedback and ensuring project deadlines are successfully completed. Develop training plans for continuous development of the team's skills and to work towards career goals. 
• Be an industry thought-leader by participating in public speaking events + panels to showcase SpotHero’s product as an industry leader in transportation and technology. 
• Continuously build and grow top performing teams by recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and providing professional development for each new hero on your team.

• You are exceptionally organized and very comfortable working with executive, engineering, and product design leaders. You sweat the details and you strive to understand the nitty-gritty details behind every decision.
• You are a clear communicator, transparent, and are passionate about creating effective documentation. You understand the importance of this when hiring + developing talent, as well as working with key stakeholders + business partners. 

What you bring:

• You have 7+ years experience in product management as well as 2+ years experience in a management role. 
• You have a background in B2B software, saas, or marketplace platforms + technologies.
• You have a passion and tenacity for learning, as well as an ability to educate others.
• You deliver clear, compassionate, and constructive feedback to team members without giving too much direction. 
• You lead engagements to provide a strong voice for products within blended teams, including senior leadership, other departments, and external clients.
• You may also have an understanding of:
• Product Analytics software - i.e. Mixpanel
• A/B testing - i.e. Optimizely
• Agile Software Development Life Cycle - i.e. Atlassian suite
