You can now filter to find touch-free parking facilities that don’t require touching tickets, buttons or surfaces to redeem your reservation.
What is Touchless Parking?
SpotHero has always offered touch-free payment in-app, but in response to COVID-19, we’re now making redemption more touch-free as well!
At self-park facilities where redemption doesn’t require touching buttons or tickets, you’ll now see a new touchless amenity, and have the ability to filter on it.

Note: limited availability in valet-heavy NYC
Scan In/Out Facilities
No buttons or tickets. Just scan the barcode or QR code on your parking pass to enter and exit the facility.
License-Plate Facilities
Add your license plate to your parking pass and you’re all set! Note: some facilities will even scan your license plate for you.
Bluetooth Facilities
Tap the button on your parking pass to open the gate and enter the facility. Do the same thing when you’re ready to leave.
Touchless on iOS & Android
When you search for parking in the SpotHero app, you’ll see a Touchless quick filter at the top if there are touchless facilities nearby. After booking just follow the usual redemption instructions on your parking pass.
Touchless on Web
Search for parking near your destination. You’ll see a touchless quick filter when there are touchless parking facilities nearby. After booking just follow the usual redemption instructions on your parking pass to park.
Note: Accidental overstays may require pulling a ticket to exit at some locations.
