Marketing Analytics Manager at SpotHero: 

The Marketing Analytics Manager provides decision support to the Marketing and Customer Service teams at SpotHero together with a team of three individual contributors with core SQL skills. In addition to the primary data and analysis work products and related maintenance, the Analytics Manager will up-skill the team’s methods and skills to include the use of Python Data Science and time-series.

What you will get to do: 

  • Lead a team of Marketing Analysts, providing coaching, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous learning, particularly in advanced analytical functions, statistics packages, and window functions.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing analytics roadmap aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Design and execute marketing models and methods, including cohort analysis, ANOVA, time-series, attribution, and other methods in collaboration with other company stakeholders.
  • Possess a deep understanding of Marketing Attribution and other ROI methodologies to measure marketing campaign effectiveness.
  • Have direct experience and/or learn how to correctly apply the following to specific business circumstances: ANOVA; Time Series; Attribution; MVT/AB
  • Leverage advanced SQL and/or Python skills to extract, transform, load (ETL), and analyze marketing data from various sources.
  • Create clear and compelling presentations for C-level executives.
  • Stay abreast of the latest marketing analytics trends and technologies, identifying and recommending new tools and techniques to enhance our capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Business Analyst, Sales, Finance) to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Manage and maintain marketing data and dashboards and reporting tools 
  • Propose new campaigns and/or existing campaign optimizations to improve business performance.

What you bring: 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing analytics leadership.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing analytics teams.
  • Fluent understanding of advanced analytical functions, statistics packages (e.g., R, Python), and window functions in SQL.
  • Experience developing and implementing complex marketing models, including cohort analysis, Churn, RFM, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of Marketing Attribution and other ROI methodologies.
  • Excellent SQL proficiency with the ability to write complex queries from scratch.
  • Exceptional analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to translate complex findings into clear insights for C-level executives.

You may also have:

  • Hands-on Search (SEM) and/or Digital Marketing experience.
  • Experience CRM systems such as Iterable or Salesforce.com or similar packages.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)

Compensation in Illinois:

  • Depending on your skillset and experience, you can expect your base salary to be between $104,000 - $130,000 as well as a discretionary bonus and leading total rewards package including stock options.
