Lot C is closed, effective April 1, 2019. Alternative parking is available in Economy Lot E.


LAX Central Terminal Area Parking Garages (CTA)

The CTA has about 8,000 parking spots at 8 parking garages (P-1, P-2, P-2B, P-3, P-4, P-5, P-6, P-7). If you require long-term parking, CTA garages are available for overnight trips and extended stay and are located a short distance from Terminals 1-8. 

Short-term parking is also available at CTA garages and allows for drop-off and pick-up of passengers. Parking here is free for the first 15 minutes. 


LAX Economy Lot E

Economy Lot E is located just east of LAX Airport. A free shuttle is offered to and from the Terminal entrances. Long-term and short-term parking is offered at Lot E.


LAX Hotel Parking

Airport parking is available at various hotels near LAX. Park at nearby hotels like the Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt Regency, Renaissance, Sheraton, and Westin. Depending on the hotel, covered and uncovered parking is available. For further details, visit Airport LA.



LAX-it (pronounced LA Exit) is LAX’s new rideshare and taxi experience. Getting to LAX-it is a shuttle or short walk away from finding your Taxi, LYFT, Opoli, or Uber. The LAX-it shuttle picks up outside baggage claim on level one and runs every 3-5 minutes.


LAX Handicap Parking

Handicap spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis at Economy Lot E and all CTA garages. Accessible parking spots in the CTA garages are located near an elevator, arrivals, or departures. A handicap placard must be displayed when parking in these spots. The same rates apply to handicap parking spaces. 


LAX Electric Vehicle Parking

Electric vehicle charging stations are available at CTA garages on the first level of parking garages P-1, P-6, and P-7. P-1 has twenty Level II charging spots and two level III fast charging spots. P-6 has twenty Level II charging stations. P-7 has eighteen Level II charging spots. All electric charging spots are first-come, first-serve. You can leave your vehicle in these spots (plugged in) until you return.

Do you have to pay a rate for CTA parking?

Yes, there is a fee for parking at the CTA garages. There's a $40 per day rate when parking at the CTA garages. Find afforadable and convenient off-airport parking by using SpotHero.


How long can you park at the CTA?

Maximum of 30 days. You can request an extension by contacting ABM Parking at 310-646-2911.


Is motorcycle parking free?

Motorcycles park for free at a maximum of 30 days. Motorcycles do not take a ticket when entering the parking structure. Motorcycles must drive around the gate arm and park in a designated area for motorcycles.


What do I do if I lose my ticket?

If a ticket has been lost, the minimum amount paid is $40, suggesting the vehicle was not parked for more than 1 day. If the vehicle was parked for more than 1 day then they will be charged for each day parked plus a $40 fee for a lost ticket. Nightly inventory is performed daily on parked vehicles.

Will I get a refund if I find my lost ticket?

Yes, mail your ticket and the original receipt to Los Angeles World Airports, Parking Services P.O. Box 92216, Los Angeles, CA 90009-2216.


Is there monthly parking?

No, all parking structures are first-come, first-serve.


Is there valet service?

No, there is no valet service or metered parking.


Are there electric vehicle charging station in the CTA?

Yes, they are available on the first level of parking structures P-1, P-6, and P-7. P-1 has twenty Level II charging spots and two level III fast charging spots.
