FAQs
The first step is to fill out the Sell Parking form on the SpotHero website. Once you complete the form, our Client Relationship team will evaluate your submission and request additional information if needed. If your spot is determined to be a good fit, we will submit it to Your Spot Rented and they will have you agree to our Terms of Service, provide payment information, and gather any further information.
All pricing is managed by Your Spot Rented according to the current market.
Spaces that are available 24/7 tend to perform the best on SpotHero, but exceptions can be made based on market/location. Please fill out the Sell Parking form if you think your location would be a good fit!
SpotHero offers on-demand parking, and because of this, customers can make reservations up to the minute before they need to park. We don’t offer the option to approve reservations before allowing customers to park.
For independent sellers listing daily or monthly parking, please contact support@yourspotrented.com immediately so we can notify the customer. Please note: if a spot is consistently unavailable after a purchase is made, we reserve the right to remove the listing.
For legacy sellers, creating blackouts as far in advance as possible should prevent this, but we know unexpected situations can sometimes arise. If it’s urgent, please search your address on SpotHero to find a nearby spot to park your personal vehicle. We always guarantee that people will have a place to park when they use SpotHero, so honoring reservations is our first priority. Please note: if a spot is consistently unavailable after a purchase is made, we reserve the right to remove the listing if necessary.
Customers can cancel up until the start time of their reservation on the website and mobile app. After that, customers have 48 hours to contact SpotHero Customer Care if they did not or could not park.

Payment arrangements vary from location to location depending on the details around the facility. It’s best to contact Your Spot Rented for specific payment questions.
For Independent Sellers listing daily, monthly, and events parking, it is important for your spot(s) to remain available to customers with an active reservation at all times. If you do not have an active reservation and need to temporarily turn your spot off, please contact Your Spot Rented at support@yourspotrented.com at least a month in advance to have your spot blacked out.
We know unexpected situations can sometimes arise. If urgent, please search your address on SpotHero to find a nearby spot to park your personal vehicle. We always guarantee people will have a place to park when they use SpotHero, so honoring reservations is our first priority. Please note: if a spot is consistently unavailable after a purchase is made, we reserve the right to remove the listing if necessary.
For legacy sellers listing hourly or event rates, you can pause your spot(s) at any time by creating a blackout through the seller control panel for up to 90 consecutive days. You’ll want to do this as far in advance as possible - to make sure a customer hasn’t already booked the spot.
